Adam serves as UK’s Waste Compliance Manager, a position he has held since he joined the Department in early 2025. Adam’s primary responsibilities are managing the University’s permitted hazardous waste treatment and storage facility, serving as the administrator of the University’s enterprise waste management system, providing oversight for waste management across UK HealthCare operations, and providing technical guidance and regulatory leadership across UK’s on- and off-campus facilities. Adam comes to UK as an environmental compliance leader with fifteen years of experience directing hazardous waste regulatory programs, permitted treatment and storage facility operations, and enterprise environmental compliance systems across academic, healthcare, chemical, and light- and heavy-manufacturing environments.

  • Provides oversight and regulatory authority for the University’s permitted hazardous waste treatment and storage facility.
  • Waste Tracking System Management
    • Serves as administrator for the University’s enterprise waste management system, supporting more than 5,000 users and governing hazardous waste management activities across academic and HealthCare operations.
  • HealthCare Waste Management
    • Provides oversight for hazardous, pharmaceutical, non-hazardous and regulated medical waste management across UK HealthCare operations.
  • Environmental Consulting and Technical Guidance
    • Provides technical guidance and regulatory leadership across UK’s on- and off-campus facilities.
