Hazardous Materials Compliance Officer

Adam serves as EQM's Hazardous Materials Compliance Officer, a position he has held since April 2026.  For a year prior, he served as an Environmental Affairs Compliance Manager here at UK. Adam’s primary responsibilities are managing the University’s permitted hazardous waste treatment and storage facility, serving as the administrator of the University’s enterprise waste management system, providing oversight for waste management across UK HealthCare operations, and providing technical guidance and regulatory leadership across UK’s on- and off-campus facilities. Adam comes to UK as an environmental compliance leader with fifteen years of experience directing hazardous waste regulatory programs, permitted treatment and storage facility operations, and enterprise environmental compliance systems across academic, healthcare, chemical, and light- and heavy-manufacturing environments.
